Brain x Body Fitness Studio is an innovative exercise facility focused on the elements of active ageing – neuroplasticity, flexibility, strength, balance and social wellbeing.

Brain x Body Fitness Studio is welcoming, friendly and adaptable to clients with a variety of health conditions and disabilities.

Importantly, we provide individualised programs! So regardless of your health challenges or goals, we tailor a program to suit YOU. We exercise your brain and cognitive function as well as your body’s physical attributes like strength, balance and flexibility.

We can support you with many different health challenges, such as:

  • Arthritis
  • Diabetes
  • Cardiovascular disease
  • Respiratory conditions (COPD, asthma)
  • Osteoporosis
  • Neurological conditions (Multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, acquired/traumatic brain injuries)
  • Pre-hab and rehab (prior and post joint replacement or surgeries)
  • Musculoskeletal injuries
  • Chronic pain
  • And people without a health condition who are committed to active ageing!

Our two studios are located at Unley and Woodville and offer small group classes, specialised equipment, in-depth assessments and clinical supervision. We can’t wait to welcome you!

Individualised support

All BBFS initial assessments are scheduled for 1 hour to determine a suitable and safe exercise program.

Weekly group classes such as yoga, dance, boxing and pilates are included in your membership.

Just as the muscles in your body get stronger when you exercise, our brain benefits from mental activities that causes it to change and adapt.

Individual check-ins

Your individualised program is reviewed by the Exercise Physiologists every 12 weeks to encourage new challenges and importantly, increase variety in your program.

Monitored progress

Physical measures of your strength, balance, flexibility and quality of life are taken during your assessment and measured every 6 months to monitor progress.
